Andy Bopp, Balimore's Indie and Power Pop Rock Legend, has written, recorded and released dozens of albums in his almost four decades in the music business. Over the years, he has been the frontman for popular local bands including New Alliance, The Bash, Love Nut, Myracle Brah, Alto Verde, Bleaker Street Cowboys and The Modern Ruins. After the release of Love Nut's indie pop debut album "Bastards of Melody" in 1996, the band signed on for a short time with Interscope Records. In 1998, Andy returned to his roots in the smaller, less corporate music world and continued to put out albums with Myracle Brah, Alto Verde, Bleaker Street Cowboys and The Modern Ruins. These bands have toured in major and not-so-major cities around the world. There's no doubt that his band's power pop tunes are heavily inspired by the Beatles and other pop rock legends. Andy also performs rockabilly locally with The High and Lonesome. Andy Bopp continues to reside in 21213 and will hit the road solo in 2017 in support of his new release "Blisters and Thorns."
